Me! We all had our totals added up for each race and I won with my randomly selected horses system. All of the others were discussing form and running conditions, but on this occasion at least, blatant feckless ignorance won hands down, and as a result I am fifty quid better off. Hooray for random idiocy!

I use exactly the same system as you do--completely ridiculous random choices--and it never works for me. Congratulations! I was hoping this system had some merit.
